You may be aware of the recent Toyota recall announcements. We would like to reassure you that European Lexus vehicles are not affected.
Are European Lexus vehicles affected by the recent Toyota Accelerator Pedal Recall?
No. The Lexus cars sold in Europe use different accelerator pedals than the affected cars.
Are European Lexus vehicles affected by the floor mat recall for Lexus vehicles in the United States?
No. The floor mats installed in Lexus vehicles in Europe have a different design from the ones in the United States. However, please note that unsecured mats can cause problems by interfering with pedals in the driver’s footwell of any car from any manufacturer. Our advice is to ensure that mats are correctly secured in your car.
Are European Lexus vehicles affected by the voluntary recall on the third generation Prius?
No. The Lexus vehicles sold in Europe have a different ABS management system.
