Improperly functioning valve springs have been found in some Lexus vehicles. There is a small possibility of abnormal engine noise, unstable idling, a misfire or the engine warning light may illuminate. In very rare instances, there is a chance that the engine may stop. There have been no reported accidents.

Lexus was recently voted the top brand for customer satisfaction in the UK. This was the finding of a survey carried out by a renowned research organisation and published in one of the UK’s leading motoring magazines.

You may be aware of the recent Toyota recall announcements. We would like to reassure you that European Lexus vehicles are not affected.Are European Lexus vehicles affected by the recent Toyota Accelerator Pedal Recall?No. The Lexus cars sold in Europe use different accelerator pedals than the affected cars.Are European Lexus vehicles affected by the floor mat recall for Lexus vehicles in the United States?No. The floor mats installed in Lexus vehicles in Europe have a different design from the ones in the United States. However, please note that unsecured mats can cause problems by interfering with pedals in the driver’s footwell of any car from any manufacturer. The 150th anniversary of The Open Championships will see the tournament return to the Home of Golf. The 2010 Championship will be the 28th time that St Andrews has hosted the event since 1873. There have been 22 separate winners throughout that time. 2010 will also see the famous 17th "Road Hole", possibly the most famous hole in golf, lengthened for the first time in over 100 years.
