INTELLIGENT - ADAPTIVE FRONT-LIGHTING
The Intelligent - Adaptive Front-lighting System (I-AFS) can automatically swivel the High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlights into approaching corners to significantly enhance night time visibility.
The sophisticated I-AFS technology can adjust the headlights (low- and high-beam) by up to 15 degrees into an approaching left turn and by up to 5 degrees into a right-hand bend.
I-AFS combined with xenon technology, which ensures more sharply defined, brighter and longer-reaching light patterns, offers enhanced visibility when cornering at night without dazzling oncoming traffic.
Please note: Intelligent – Adaptive Front-lighting System (I-AFS) and High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlights are only specified on IS Dynamic and Luxury grades and on the new F-Sport model.
