V8 ENGINE

World-class V8 technology is the foundation for the new LS range. A 4.6-litre is specified in the LS 460 (280 kW) and LS 460 AWD (270 kW), while the LS 600h models feature a 5.0-litre (290 kW) version. Whichever V8 you choose, you’ll enjoy an engine of great power, efficiency and refinement.

A number of breakthrough technologies contribute to driving pleasure. D-4S direct fuel injection, dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i) and Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Electric (VVT-iE) combine to ensure optimum engine performance.

The LS 460 powers from 0 – 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and the
LS 460 AWD in a fraction over six. In the LS 600h models, the 5-litre V8 is supplemented by a high performance electric motor for breathtaking hybrid drive performance.
