The new RX provides the very highest levels of safety. In addition to impact-absorbing crumple zones and an exceptionally rigid passenger safety cell, a class-leading shield of ten strategically positioned airbags helps protect you.

2-stage driver and front passenger airbags are complemented by knee and side airbags, while large format rear side airbags are also specified. Curtain shield airbags, left and right, can deploy rapidly and evenly across the entire cabin length.

The innovative twin-chamber front passenger airbag is a world first. Once inflated, the twin chambers create a depression in the centre, effectively cradling sensitive areas of the face, such as the nose and mouth. And active front headrests minimise whiplash in the event of a rear impact.
