The multimedia software upgrade is now available for the Lexus ES, UX and NX models built between 2017 and 2019. Improve connectivity with smartphone integration via Apple CarPlayTM* and Android AutoTM*. Numerous functions can then be used safely and conveniently on the multimedia display of your Lexus including telephony, SMS, WhatsApp, navigation and music apps.

* Please contact your Lexus Retailer (or an affiliate) to perform the software upgrade of your multimedia device.

CONVENIENT VOICE CONTROL

Relax and keep your hands on the steering wheel by using voice to easily control your smartphone and enjoy a smooth and focused driving experience. The multimedia upgrade* enables you to use Siri® on your iPhone® or Google Assistant® on smartphones with Android operating systems. Issue navigation commands, make calls or send and receive messages conveniently, comfortably and safely.

Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM offer convenient access to your favourite compatible apps on the multimedia display. While driving, enjoy a playlist to match your mood on Spotify® or Pandora® . You can dictate and send SMS or messages via WhatsAppTM or select a stimulating podcast.

Get to any destination with ease. Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM transfer your planned route to the car’s multimedia display - including integrated voice control. Navigation via Google MapsTM or WazeTM is also possible. In addition, wireless updates are available so you can download the latest maps.
