As the RC F sports coupé was engineered with GT3 racing in mind, it made sense that the V8-powered RC F and the RC F GT3 race car were developed simultaneously. The RC F GT3 shares the RC F’s basic body style, but it’s immediately evident that there’s a lot more bodywork. Additional foils, including a large rear wing, added to improve the car’s aerodynamics, and allowing it to produce massive downforce on the track. A peek inside the RC F GT3’s cabin reveals an extremely spartan interior. Every piece of equipment serves a distinct purpose, while all the unnecessary elements – including the passenger seats – have been removed to reduce weight.
